Abeokuta- The two – days intensive International Conference 24th- 25th June, 2019, a gathering of “Who is Who” in Africa and other part of the world distinguished two illustrious African son and daughter, gave global recognition to the Ex- Liberian Vice President, Sir Joseph Nyuma Boakai as the Most Notable and outstanding Leader of the 21st Century and the Vice Chancellor, Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Professor Mrs. Chinedum Peace Babalola as the Most Notable and outstanding Professor of phamarcologist of the 21st Century by the Leadership of International Chartered World Learned Society (ICWLS) under the Leadership of the World Grand President, and Vice Chancellor, Crown University College, Accra, Ghana, a World Distinguished Professor of Computer Science, and Information Communication Technology (ICT), Professor (Sir.) Bashiru Aremu, who presented the Awards to the recipients.
The event as witnessed by our reporter took place at Chrisland University College, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, Nigeria where African Noble Leaders, stakeholders, Civil Society Organizations, World-class Professors gathered on a Workshop to proffer solutions to the challenges of development, Sustainable development Goals in African continentSustainablel African Professors, Stakeholders, Leaders and Civil Society Organizations in the continent conspicuously recognized two great notable Leaders in the continent of Africa.
Professor Sir Bashiru Aremu stated that duo merited the award as the Leadership of International Chartered World Learned Society has done rigorous research on them and discovered that they deserved the Awards.
His Excellency, Sir., Joseph Nyuma Boakai in the citation as read by a Dr. Nwafor Simon, a Professor of Management and Leadership, City University, Cambodia, Benin Republic Campus, a very sound profile that other African Leaders should emulate.
Sir Nyuma has served Liberian had and still empowering youths, Women in Liberia, Africa and globally, also served the Government, his country, humanity meritoriously with reputation unlike some African Leaders with questionable characters.
The 1972 graduate of Business Administration from University of Liberia after receiving the award thanked the Leadership of ICWLS for counting worthy for such recognition and promised to continue in his preaching for love in Africa, unity of the continent and global peace through proper respect for culture, traditions, ethics and values for Substainable growth and development.
In another development, Professor Sir Bashiru Aremu, Poured encomium on the VC of Chrisland University, Prof Mrs Babalola on her contributions to the field Medicines, Biological Sciences globally as a World renown pharmacologist, therefore stated that she merited the Award based on her contributions to the society and hardwork towards educational development.
Professor, Mrs Chinedum Peace Babalola also thanked the Leadership of ICWLS as well respected global body whose aims and objectives is to honor those that has distinguished themselves different businesses, fields of learning in the society, also went further to commend everyone that graced the occasion from different Universities in Nigeria and abroad as well as their partner CEO Africa on that occasion of Pan-African International Conference on SDGs and proffering solutions to the challenges of African development.
